Hi!

My name is Patricia, I am a native speaker (from Spain) and I am a certified Spanish teacher.

I currently live in Bangkok, but I have worked in the service sector for more than sixteen years in different Spanish companies as Marketing Manager, and in all of them I have discovered that when I was doing training, I really enjoyed it, something that opened my eyes and awakened my passion for teaching others.

When I studied at school and high school, English was not a relevant subject and, therefore, it was not taught efficiently. So I had to “find my own way” and seek for native teachers to help me reach a good level of English. Throughout this process I had teachers who managed to get me hooked, motivated me and helped me to improve my level; I also found teachers who managed to do the opposite. I know exactly what a foreign language learner goes through and I know the key to learning a new language in a practical, fun, stimulating and exciting way.

All these factors led me to do something that I now consider that I am passionate about and really enjoy doing, which is to be a certified teacher of Spanish as a foreign language. I have taught groups from different levels and nationalities: China, New Zealand, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, the United Kingdom, Romania, Germany, Hungary Thailand, Philippines, and the United States. All of them have given me a bigger vision of teaching based on the different learning difficulties related to their mother tongue.
